Broadview Leadership Partners works with mid-size companies, typically 50 to 350 people, navigating growth, leadership transitions, or ownership change. These are businesses where the next leadership hire isn't just a backfill. It's a decision that shapes how the company performs, how the culture evolves, and whether the next chapter goes the way it's supposed to.
We built Broadview because most search firms treat hiring as a transaction. We treat it as a business problem.
That starts with how we define the role before we ever recruit for it. We work with clients to get clear on responsibilities, mandate, cultural fit, and measurable objectives, all within the context of where the business is actually headed. Most hiring problems start here. Most firms skip it.
Our screening process goes beyond qualifications. We assess candidates for behavioural alignment and cultural fit as seriously as we assess experience and track record, because a leader who performs on paper but clashes with how the team operates isn't a win for anyone.
We also stay involved after the hire. Our commitment includes first-90-day executive coaching and hands-on onboarding support. A strong placement doesn't mean much if the integration falls apart.
Our clients are founders, CEOs, and investment partners running businesses at an inflection point, scaling fast, restructuring, or preparing for a transaction. They need someone who understands what's actually at stake, not just a firm that can produce a shortlist.

Bennett Royer | Partner
I’ve spent my 15-year career working with growing companies and the leaders behind them. My background sits at the intersection of corporate finance, organizational psychology, and executive recruitment — basically, I’m interested in how businesses work and why certain people succeed in certain environments.
Most challenges I see in small and mid-sized companies come down to leadership fit. Not in a theoretical way, but in how decisions get made, how people communicate, and what the team actually needs for the next stage of growth. That’s the part of the work I enjoy. I spend time with founders and executives getting clear on what they really need from a role, how the team operates today, and what kind of person will make everything work better in practice.
Broadview grew out of that approach. It’s less about traditional “recruiting” and more about understanding people and the dynamics that make a company run. When you get that right, the rest falls into place.
At home, I’m a dad to two young kids who keep life loud, funny, and full of perspective. I’m also an admiring husband to my incredibly talented wife, doing my best to support her interior design business and the creative chaos that comes with it.

I bring 7 years of HR & Recruitment experience across a broad spectrum of domains including Engineering, Technology, Finance, Human Resources, and Operations. I focus on the delivery and administrative functions of Broadview, to ensure that our client's expectations are met and our operations are running smoothly!
As an avid lover of psychology and philosophy, I am more interested in learning about the person behind the experience, rather than what presents prima facie. To achieve this, I take an equivalent approach to professional & personal conversations alike, which can be best summarized by Ram Dass: “We're fascinated by the words, but where we meet is in the silence behind them.” If only I could stop talking long enough to put that into practice...

Daniel Hewko | Partner
I’ve spent the last 15 years in recruitment, which is impressive considering the three-ring circus I run at home. I actually started my career as an accountant after earning my Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Victoria — but it didn’t take long to realize I probably shouldn’t be trusted with other people’s numbers.
At my core, I’m a people person and truly care. I would like to know the name of your kid's fish and your Mimi's favorite color. I connect quickly, I build real relationships, and I genuinely enjoy getting to know what makes someone tick. That curiosity translates into a strong sense for cultural fit and team dynamics. I approach recruitment with a mix of instinct, honesty, and a pretty sharp radar for what someone will bring to a team.
Outside of work, I’m a die-hard Red Sox fan. All three of my kids’ passport photos are in Red Sox jerseys, and no — I don’t take questions about it. Speaking of the kids, I’m the father of three lovable hellions who turn my house into a daily obstacle course of noise, banter, and questionable life choices.
My happy place? Disneyland. It’s where my chaos meets its natural habitat.
That’s me: recruiter, dad, Red Sox loyalist, and lover of all things Disney. Just white-knuckling it one day at a time.
